Geauga Local Schools is currently accepting applications for the position of
Technology Integration Specialist for the 2013-14 school year.
The West Geauga School District is located in
Geauga County. The system is in a suburban, rural area approximately 20
miles east of Cleveland with 25,000 middle and upper income business and
professional residents. West Geauga Local Schools has earned an
Excellent or better rating on the Ohio Department of Education State
Report Card for twelve straight years. The Technology Integration
Specialist will assist teachers in the elementary, middle, and high schools
enhance learning through improved integration of technology. The primary focus
of the Technology Integration Specialist is to enrich and support teaching and
learning while strengthening the technology skills of students, teachers, and
staff. The Technology Integration Specialist will assist classroom
teachers in the incorporation of technological hardware and software into the
lesson plan.

Valid
Ohio teacher certification/licensure.
·
Minimum
of three years of successful elementary, middle, or high school teaching
experience.
·
Extensive
knowledge of teaching techniques, curriculum, and staff development.
·
Have
clear goals and strategies for integrating technology into instruction.
