Teaching Technology Support

Facilities Directorate support Central Teaching facilities, video-conferencing and AV and IT equipment hire

The Teaching Technology Support Team provide a wide range of support to the Central Teaching Space on campus which currently extends to approx. 250 lecture theatres and classrooms. We have a rapid-response customer services team linked to the Helpdesk. They are supported by a dedicated technical team who ensure that the AV and IT is working correctly and meets user requirements.

An SLA is in place to ensure that CTS is always fit for purpose. General room checks, AV and IT and health and safety checks are carried out on a regular basis.

Fully trained staff are always available to respond to urgent problems when teaching is taking place. We also offer training and assistance on equipment use before the event.
